What you may do with Muster, and what we promise.

Terms of Use

Last updated: DATA — A PREENCHER

These terms are between you and ROCKETAPPS TECNOLOGIA LTDA, CNPJ CNPJ — A PREENCHER, at ENDEREÇO DA EMPRESA — A PREENCHER (“RocketApps”, “we”). They govern your use of Muster, a desktop application for macOS.

By installing or using Muster, you agree to them. If you do not, do not install it.

What Muster is, and what it is not

Muster runs agent command-line tools that you already have — Claude Code and Codex — side by side on your own machine, and lets a test command you choose decide when a task is done.

Muster does not provide artificial intelligence services. It makes no model calls of its own. Every token is spent by the CLI you installed, under your own account with that CLI’s provider. Your use of those tools is governed by the provider’s own terms, not by these, and you are responsible for complying with them.

Muster is not a code editor, does not synchronise anything to a cloud, and has no server that holds your code.

Your licence

When you buy Muster, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it, for one person, on the machines you use. The licence is annual and renews until you cancel it.

You may not: resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute Muster; share your licence key with other people; or attempt to circumvent the licence check. You may reverse engineer it only to the extent that applicable law allows regardless of this clause.

The perpetual fallback licence

If you stop renewing, the last version you downloaded keeps working, indefinitely. What stops is the right to updates and to new versions.

We say this here because it is a promise, not a courtesy: the copy you paid for does not stop working because a subscription lapsed, because a server went away, or because we did.

The trial

Muster runs for 14 days without payment and without a card, with every feature enabled. When the trial ends, the app stops opening new sessions until a licence is activated. Nothing you created is deleted.

Payment

Purchases are processed by FastSpring, which acts as the merchant of record — the seller on your invoice, and the party that handles tax. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the transaction itself.

Prices are US$ 89 per year, or R$ 299 per year in Brazil. Taxes may be added according to where you are. Renewal is charged on the anniversary of your purchase, at the price then published, and we will tell you in advance if that price has changed.

Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

Activating, and what activation records

To activate, the app sends your licence key and an identifier derived from your machine to our licence server, and receives a signed token back. The token is checked by the app itself, offline, against a public key inside it.

The app keeps working for up to 30 days without reaching our server, so a flight, a hotel network or a corporate firewall does not stop you working. After that it asks to revalidate.

We record the licence key, the machine identifiers it has been activated on, and the dates. We do not receive your code, your files, your prompts or your agent transcripts — see below.

Your code and your data

Your code stays in its folder. Your agent sessions are written by the CLI, on your machine, and Muster reads them there. Projects, queue, roles and settings live in a local database on your computer.

Nothing of that is sent to us. The only traffic between Muster and RocketApps is the licence activation and the update check. What leaves your machine beyond that is exactly what the agent CLI sends to its own provider, on your account, as it would from your terminal.

Acceptable use

Do not use Muster to break the terms of the CLI providers whose tools it runs. In particular, Muster will not help you stack accounts to get around a provider’s usage limits, and configuring it to try is a breach of these terms as well as of theirs.

Do not use Muster to build or operate anything unlawful.

Updates

Muster checks for updates and downloads them, and then waits for you to restart. We do not install updates silently, because the app may be holding live agent sessions mid-edit.

We may change, add or remove features between versions. Where a change removes something you rely on, we will say so in the release notes.

Warranty and liability

Muster is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be free of defects, that it will suit a particular purpose, or that agents run through it will produce correct work. The verification command is a check, not a guarantee: it tells you that a command exited zero, which is exactly as much as it says.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the event. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data, or work done by an agent.

Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Lei 8.078/1990) or under any other law that applies to you and cannot be waived by contract.

Ending it

You may stop using Muster at any time, and cancel renewal from the FastSpring receipt or by writing to us.

We may end your licence if you breach these terms — in practice, if you redistribute the software or share keys. If we do, we will tell you why, and we will refund the unused part of the year unless the breach was deliberate.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the version in force is the one published here, with the date at the top. For a change that reduces your rights materially, we will tell licence holders by email before it applies.

Law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the court where you live; nothing here takes that away.
